Privacy statement

General provisions

If you provide personal data to DB Group as a flex worker, candidate, job applicant, self-employed person without staff or as a (direct or hired) employee, your data will be included in DB Group's administration (database, files and etc.). This also applies to the data we receive from you as an employee or representative of a business relation, client, supplier, vendor or other company or institution.

If you choose to voluntarily provide us with information, we will use this information in accordance with our privacy policy.

DB Group is convinced that the personal privacy of its candidates, flex workers, employees, as well as that of its other business relations and visitors to the website is essential. Personal data are therefore handled and secured with the greatest possible care, in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act.

When do we collect your data?

We collect your data from the moment you enter or leave your details on our website, register with our branch or otherwise apply or are registered to use our services.

We may also collect data from you if you have posted it on public resources that might indicate your interest in work-related services. In that case, we will include you in our records and assume, based on your transparency, posting on public sites, that you agree to the processing of your data. You will receive confirmation of the registration from us and you will of course have the right to modify, access and delete your data.

Why do we collect your data?

We collect and process your data to carry out our mediation, staffing, secondment, payroll, recruitment & selection, personal development and employability, payroll and personnel management.

More specifically, your personal data will be processed to:

  1. Providing you with offers and/or information on services and other activities and tailoring them better to your needs and qualities. This is done by our employees and partly automatically, for example in the case of a job alert.
  2. To be able to assess your suitability and availability in connection with placement for permanent or temporary work or an assignment, which may also involve the use of test results, reference checks, Social Media (if relevant to the position and indicated in the job description), etc .
  3. Establish and maintain an employee or staffing/mediation relationship with you and carry out the relevant administration for this purpose.
  4. Fulfil our reintegration obligations and comply with (the government-mandated goal of) helping persons with a large(er) distance from the labour market into work.
  5. To be able to record an assignment with the client in an agreement with the client and to maintain and fulfil the agreement with the client.
  6. For management purposes including management information, providing internal controls and corporate security and conducting audits and auditing.
  7. Quality purposes such as certification.
  8. Apply for subsidies, premium discounts, etc.
  9. If we have entered into an employee or staffing/mediation relationship with you, for compliance with laws and regulations, including but not limited to identification, labour, tax and social security laws, combating fraud and national and international sanctions laws.

What personal data do we collect from you?

We process personal data necessary for our services. Some of this data is mandatory to use our services. Additional data may be desirable to better tailor the service to your needs and qualities or to meet more specific requests or obligations from clients. You are personally responsible for the accuracy and relevance of the data you provide.

More specifically, this concerns - among others - the following (documents containing) personal data:

On registration:

- name and address, e-mail address and other contact details
- Birth data, age, gender
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) original and edited, information on education, internships and work experience
- Data on training and education and/or tests you have attended or taken yourself or through us
- Other information that is or may be relevant in the context of assessing the candidate's suitability, e.g. references and certificates

If you can work/work/have worked for DB Group/HS Technical:

- Nationality, BSN number, ID proof, work permit
- Other data related to personnel, payroll and absence records

DB Group may disclose your personal data to its clients, subcontractors (e.g. data processors) providing services or performing assignments on its behalf, suppliers, government agencies and other business relations. In all other cases in which we may be obliged to do so, for example by a court order or court judgment.

The provision of personal data is made on the basis of a legitimate interest, legal obligation and/or for the performance of the agreement in accordance with the purposes listed under “Why do we collect your personal data?”.

 Your personal data may be transferred outside the Netherlands. DB Group has taken the necessary measures to ensure that the personal data transferred is adequately protected.

How long do we keep your personal data?

DB Group retains your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected and follows the applicable laws and regulations in this respect. Not all data can/will be deleted due to tax retention obligations.

Right of inspection

You can contact us at any time via info@dbgroup.nl or by letter (DB Group, Vonderweg 29, 7468 DC Enter) to request which of your data we may process. In addition, you can request to supplement, correct or delete your data at any time via the procedure described above. We aim to respond within four weeks of receiving your request.

Questions, comments and complaints

If you have any questions, comments or complaints regarding the privacy statement or the way DB Holding records, uses or processes your data, please notify us by e-mail at info@dbgroup.nl, or by sending a letter to DB Group, Vonderweg 29 , 7468 DC Enter. We aim to respond within four weeks of receiving your question , comment or complaint.

Changes

DB Group may make changes, additions or amendments to its privacy statement from time to time for various reasons. The most up-to-date privacy statement can be viewed on DB Group's website and HS Technical at any time. This version was prepared in May 2018.
